The Passion Behind Compassion
Compassion Quilts was started in the beautiful town of Laramie, Wyoming, by a local quilter named Kathryn. Kathryn has worn many hats in her journey; environmental engineer, stay-at-home mom, and local entrepreneur. She found inspiration when her little boy was hospitalized. Her little guy was comforted by his family but also by a wonderful community of nurses and doctors along with a small pillow, hand sewn by a group that supported the hospital. For years that pillow was carried for comfort, supported a tired little head during rest, and was tossed around during play time. It is now an heirloom and reminder of the impact of kindness. Compassion Quilts was created to get heartwarming quilts and blankets to those in need and spread the warmth and comfort that every little one deserves.
